Tangled Coffee Filters
Last Sunday we had a wonderful meeting with 9 CZT's from Colorado. It was really fun to just get together, talk, share ideas, and we had a great pot luck lunch. Some of us took some time to experiment applying watercolor on coffee filters for tangling on when dry. I took my home and got it done the other night. If I did it again, I would use a lot lighter color for a softer background.

This is a great idea, I'll have to try it.
ReplyDeleteIt sounded interesting to me when you mentioned it. Your finished ZIA made it even more so. I have some unbleached filters soaking in some coffee while folded and clipped. I'm hoping to apply some of the Renaissance tile techniques to the end result. Though I'm a little afraid the coffee is going to be awful subtle.
ReplyDeleteI will be anxious to see the results!
