In CZT class, I came up with a really easy tangle that I am sharing here. I am naming it "Cheers" because I found my inspiration on the dinning room ceiling and love to enjoy a good meal and glass of wine with friends, so Cheers! Also, when I shaded it, the rounded curves look like cheerleaders megaphones. (I have not seen this in the wide world of tangles yet, but if I missed it, please let me know)
This is gorgeous!! Cheers indeed!!What was on the ceiling?
ReplyDeleteI am loving doing my Tangles.I'm reasonably new to this type of drawing- but LOVE it already.
Thanks Judy! The Oakhurst Retreat and Conference Center where CZT classes are held is a wonderful old building with amazing architecture everywhere, even the ceiling. Welcome to the addicting world of Zentangle! Isn't it great!
ReplyDeleteI love this one!! And I love how you ended up with the name. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteReally neat...can't wait to try this one. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI found inspiration on the DR ceiling there too! I called my tangle "Oakling" (OAKhurst ceilING). It doesn't look much at all like Cheers. Which I really like by the way. Thanks!
ReplyDeletenice tangle, the Oakhurst was just full of inspiration. Another take on this tangle could be just echo-ing any shape. I'm sure lots of cool effects would be achieved.
ReplyDeleteOh fantastic!! So simple to do, you'd never guess. I'm so glad you shared it. :D
ReplyDeleteFabulous Sue, I'm with you... a good meal and a glass of wine sounds good to me, cheers to you!!!
