DIVA Challenge #280 RIO Olympics
The challenge from the DIVA this week is to let the Olympics inspire your tile. I have always loved watching the Olympics, both the summer and the winter games. Not because I am athletic myself (far from it), but I do find the games and the athletes very inspiring. I love to listen to the stories of their families, their training, and their previous and present victories (both personal and athletic). My favorite events to watch this year have been swimming, gymnastics, and track. I used the Olympic rings for my tile. I used watercolor for the rings and let it bleed a little around each one. When it was dry I tangled. Have a good weekend, everyone!

Gosh, I really love that! The colors are perfect for this piece.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully executed well done.
ReplyDeleteThe bleeding rings are great; so is the whole tile.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tile! Like your watercolor rings a lot!
ReplyDeleteThis is great Sue, I really like the bleed of your watercolor with the rings and how they form little paintings together.
ReplyDeleteI have to agree with the previous commenters... I love the way the colors bleed out into the tangled area! The Flux, Tipple, and Diva Dance flow one to the other very nicely, too.
