DIVA Challenge 262 Fassett
This week's challenge at the DIVA's blog is by guest challenger, Lynn Mead/CZT. Lynn has a really fun tangle called Fassett that looks complicated, but it's not. Once you do the basic steps, the appearance changes so dramatically with the last lines you add. This tangle has been around for awhile, and I love it! I decided to make it a monotangle.

Your shading puts in a curve that I know isn't there and the effect is very pleasing.
ReplyDeleteThe tangle reminds me of framed panes of delicate glass. Very nice! Sarah.
ReplyDeleteI love your tile Sue! The monotangle of Fassett worked out great! It can look so different depending on how you do it.
ReplyDeleteVery creative and beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThe open shaded triangle looks like a mirror and makes it more exiting.
Great shading too!
Beautiful tile and I love the contrast with the open spaces.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteI love your tile, I like the long and short parts to the fassett
ReplyDeleteLike the way you changed sizes. Great tile!
ReplyDeleteVery nice! I like the counterpoint of the two smaller black triangles and the larger white/gray one.
ReplyDeleteI like the way it's shining and the contrast.
ReplyDeleteNice! It reminds me or draped cloth. Nice addition with the shaded negative space.
ReplyDeleteTruly lovely! 🙏🏽
