DIVA Challenge #157 Charlie
As another beginning of the month rolls around, the DIVA has us trying another new tangle named Charlie. This one is by Erin Olson of the Bright Owl blog and the weekly zendala dare fame. If you get the chance, hop over to Erin's blog and read about how this tangle got it's name. Who doesn't love Charlie Brown and the Peanuts gang! I used string number 77 from www.tanglepatterns.com.Thanks for the fun tangle, Erin!
The central ribbon is a nice break between Charlie and Stricles. Surprised that more did not mention the Yin/Yang effect. Was this intentional or one of those unexpected surprises?
THIS IS AWESOME! Love the juxtaposition of the jagged lines on one side & the circles on the other. Very cool!
ReplyDeleteLovely tile Sue!
ReplyDeleteWhat a truly lovely tile! Charlie and Strircles balance each other so nicely.
ReplyDeleteI love this, the string and other tangles compliment charlie really well and the shading just finishes it off beautifully.
ReplyDeleteWow! Beautiful! I absolutely love the corners. I have not learned that tangle yet.
ReplyDeleteI love the corners too. Reminds me of a designer pillow that I would put on my couch.
ReplyDeleteLovely, looks like a cushion.
ReplyDeletePerfect yin yang tile! Really love it!
ReplyDeleteGreat combination - very clean and uncompromisingly bold! I too think it looks like a cushion and fancy it on my sofa! Axxx
ReplyDeleteGorgeous tile! So wonderful composition with these tangles!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, needs to be on a cushion with luxurious black tassells! Fantastic work :)
ReplyDeleteI love the contrast, it is gorgeous!
