DIVA Challenge #155 A Little White Space
This week our lovely DIVA, Laura Harms is requesting that we leave "a little white space" on our tiles. I drew a string and picked some tangles that I haven't tried yet, leaving a space in the middle open. The new tangles I tried are Showgirl (need to practice that a little more, mine came out looking more like Bunzo), Knot Rickz, Telis, and Bask-it, along with a little Purk and Zinger.

Very pretty Sue! You have just chosen the right tangles.
ReplyDeleteLove your work, Sue. Never fails to elicit WOW's! :) Your hearts with the Coil at the top of the page are fantastic. ♥
ReplyDeleteIt's so much fun to try out new or seldom used tangles. I would never even think to make purk narrow like you did and it's so effective. Nice tangling!
ReplyDeletePretty I especially like the way you did the flower in the upper left and then dotted it!
ReplyDeleteReally lovely, Sue. Your pattern choices are great and have been beautifully executed.
ReplyDeleteLike how things sweep up to the right. Adds a nice flow rather than things being square. Nice shading on the tangles.
ReplyDeleteIt's just a perfect tile - lovely tangles, great shading and just the right amount of white space. A great lesson in tangling for me. Axxx
ReplyDeleteA really interesting choice of tangle patterns that work very well together, delicate and pretty, well done :)
ReplyDeleteSuper tile and I also like the use of tangles chosen!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tile! Great choice of tangles!
ReplyDeleteI like knot rickz and purk. They are fun. I really like the narrow purk. Looks great. Like the whole look.
ReplyDeleteThese tangles are dancing around this tile! Great. Love it!
