Zendala Dare #4

I had a really fun Beyond the Basics class on Saturday, with 3 lovely ladies that are tangle enthusiasts.  They all brought their beautiful work to share and it inspired all of us. Each one bought the new Zendala tiles, so I can't wait to see what they create with those! After class, I like to do some tangling just to unwind from teaching and I picked up the template,  that I printed the day before,  for the 4th Zendala Dare at The Bright Owl, and just started tangling away.  Later, as I was doing some computer work, I checked out Blogger and remembered that this Zendala Dare was supposed to have a Mexican theme, which I totally spaced out.  I thought about doing another, but really didn't have the time, so I just added a little color in the white sections of my tile.  While it's not as festive as I would have planned, had I remembered...it will have to do.

Great combination of tangles, textures, and colors. Festive even if you didn't plan it!

I like it! Makes me think of a Mexican Hat dance.

Sue, I love that you chose such a vibrant yellow. It really makes the piece pop, and your choice of tangles is perfect!

Lovely! Beach balls, flowers, wicker or trellis... maybe the black/white representing the evening disco at a resort ... It all works wonderfully as a representation of Mexico, I think.

I like it. Your patterns, when combined with the colors do give a mexican feel to it. Great work!
