DIVA Challenge #222 Colors of the Rainbow
The challenge this week is to use color, any kind of color you choose! I had not made a mandala from scratch lately, so I made that my challenge along with the color. Instead of doing a lot of tangling on it, I concentrated on the color. I used a piece of tan paper (I can't tell you what kind, because someone gave me a few sheets awhile back) and then used my Prismacolor pencils to practice blending and shading. When I was done I used some Sakura gelly roll pens to tangle and highlight on top of the pencil.

Das ist ein sehr schönes Mandala
ReplyDeleteSo lovely, Sue. Great idea to do a Zendala for this one! (Or, once you add color, does it become a ZIAdala?) I do like the simplicity of tangling with all that rich color.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful ! You are so inspiring to me! Many thanks♡
ReplyDeleteI live in southeastern Pennsylvania, so your zendala is very reminiscent of the Hex Signs on barns in Pennsylvania Dutch country near here. I also worked with prismacolor pencils and had a hard time with blending. You did a very nice job with that.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Zendala, I love your choice of colours
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tile !
