DIVA Challenge 187 Blind String
This week, the DIVA has asked us to draw a string with our eyes closed. I love to do this because I always get something out of the ordinary to work with, and not like my usual strings. I must remember to do this more often! Thank, Laura!
TANGLES: Braze, Shattuck, Isochor, Hollibaugh,
and variations of Cadent, Paradox, & Yincut
a very nice entry.
ReplyDeleteYou and me both, this challenge reminded me that I need to go old school again. Your tile is beautiful! I love the contrast!
ReplyDeleteYour string is quite interesting and so is the finished tile!
ReplyDeleteWonderful tile with a great contrast between dark and light!
ReplyDeleteLovely tile with amazing details.
ReplyDeleteLove how you played with light and shadow.
Terrific Tile, Sue. Your string formed a very nice foundation for your wonderful Pattern work to build upon. Love the Cadent Variation and your curved Hollibaugh. The three Black Pearls in the lower margin is a nice touch. Well done.
ReplyDeleteYour cadent is so shiny. I love that look.... and will probably steal it shamelessly for a tangle in the future.
ReplyDeleteGreat "blind string" tile and the sidewalk Zendala is absolutely killer!!
ReplyDeleteGreat tile, Sue. Love the variations on the tangles, especially Cadent.
ReplyDeleteWow! What a great blind string! Love it. And your tile is gorgeous! I really admire your tangles and the curves you put in. Really beautiful and very inspired and inspiring!
