DIVA Challenge 273 Tangle Remix
This week's challenge from the DIVA is to take one of your old tiles and make it better. At first when I read the challenge I thought I wouldn't be able to join in. I am not at home this week, but traveling in our RV, so I couldn't find an old tile to remix. But wait, I brought lots of art and Zentangle supplies with me, so I started digging. I have a bag I carry around with me for tangling, and that bag has a lot of pockets. So, low and behold not only did I find one tile, but 4. 2 that were completed, and 2 that were started and never completed. The one I picked is almost a year old, and was never finished. I know it's not the same as redoing one, but I did revise and redo the patterns that were started on the tile, and in a pinch it will have to do.

DIVA Challenge 272 Red, White, & Black all over
This week's challenge from the DIVA can be found at this link here. Instead of just the usual white tile with black ink we added red this week. I used some red watercolor in the middle and some red ink. It was a rainy day today, so I got to tangle the challenge and a tan zendala tile, which I will add later.

DIVA Challenge 271 Beads of Courage
Beads of Courage
This weeks' challenge is one I have done in the past, but always enjoy because it brings awareness to a very important arts in medicine program that helps kids with chronic or life threatening illness tell the story of their medical journey. You can read all about in on the Divas blog at www.iamthedivaczt.blogspot.com. Laura helps raise money for this program each year with a really fun looking 5K race, and also has us do a beads of courage challenge.
I decided to use the ZenGems as my beads (because I wanted to practice them some more) and added a very simple headline as the necklace string. (Oh yes, and a little "A" for Artoo). Love that little guy!
Have a wonderful week everyone!
