DIVA Challenge 270 SKYE

Our challenge this week from the DIVA is to try out the tangle, Skye, by Margaret Bremner.  I knew I wanted to try this tangle when I saw Margaret's tiles and step-outs on her blog, so I was happy it was the challenge this week.  It has a bit of a learning curve, but I thought it got easier each time I tried it.  I will be playing with this tangle more in the future!

DIVA Challenge 269 Ellish

Whenever a new official tangle comes out, the DIVA always challenges us to give it a try.  I have been playing with this new tangle, Ellish, for a little while now, but never posted it anywhere.  I couldn't help do another one last night!  Not too often I have 3 tiles for the challenge

DIVA Challenge 268 A bit-o-black

Yes, I am very late with my entry into last week's challenge!  I was out of town on a whirlwind trip with 2 of my sisters from Wisconsin.  We went to NYC for 5 nights (4 days) and saw all the attractions we could see.  We also took in 3 Broadway plays, and did some shopping!  We put a lot of miles on our feet, rode the subway everywhere we could, and we had so much fun doing all of it!
The DIVA has asked us to add some black in places we normally wouldn't.  I added stripes in Paradox, Beelight, and Avreal, and some rounding around Poke Root, and Flux.
Better late then never with my tile!

Paradox, Beelight, Munchin, Flux, Poke Root, Tipple, and Avreal

Some of the highlights of our NYC trip too!

DIVA Challenge #267 Drupe & Poke Root

In celebration of Laura's birthday, she decided to have us do a Duo-tangle, since they are her favorite challenges.  I love the duo tangle challenges too, since they are usually two tangles we normally wouldn't pair together.  The challenge is to use only Drupe and Poke Root.  Happy Birthday, Laura! Have a good week, everyone!

DIVA challenge 266: Crux

As another 1st Monday of the month rolls around, so does the Diva's UMT (use my tangle) challenge.  This week we are using Crux by Henrike Bratz.  It's a fun tangle, with a lot of detail and variations.  I did mine on a pre-strung tile and put in a little Printemps with my two variations of Crux
